COME SKI THE "GREATEST SNOW ON EARTH" in Park City, UTAH

In the winter, the call is to the mountains (as well as the sea). Captain Dan lives at 7000 feet in the Wasatch mountains of UTAH. There are 9 major ski resorts within an hour from the house. This is "Base Camp" for all your skiing and snowboarding dreams.

Only 25 freeway minutes and one stop sign from the SLC International Airport, you can be skiing or riding every day. Capt. Dan has been on the ski school staff at Park City Mountain Resort for 12 years and can show you a few of his secret stashes of real powder. As a lifetime skier, and a snowboarder for over 20 years, Dan knows what it means to be at home on the slopes. Fully Certified by the PSIA for over 15 years and with a teaching style that is based on the PSIA Standards, he can guide you to the next level of trust and discovery in the mountains. Developing a level of understanding and then trusting yourself and equipment, you can seek to take on the challenges of the whole mountain. As a certified technician, he can assist you with all your equipement needs. Dan has not only taught all levels of skiing and riding, but has coached various levels of racing as well. From the Park City Ski Team and the local "Farm Team" to the Park City Disabled Ski Team.

A graduate of the USSA National Coaches Academy, he has worked with local juniors and masters, as well as the Japanese Downhill Team at the famed Hahnenkamm in Kitzbuehel, Austria. He has competed Internationally in Italy, Sweden, Norway and Austria and has won several races at the National level.

Now retired from competition and a self proclaimed "Powder Hound", you will find him on the "First Chair" on many a morning after the big storms.

So join Dan for a day or two near his home in Park City. The Hot Tub on the back deck is always hot and the bunk room is warm and cozy. Private ski days start at $200 per day and include all the instruction needed to increase your enjoyment for the sport and the mountains.
