Daniel Powers Bergin
1960 — 2007

October 18, 2007: Dan, 46, of Park City, UT, died in a kite surfing accident in Seattle, WA. He was the son of the late Justice Eugene W. Bergin and Dr. Virginia Bergin MacKenzie of Hilton Head, SC. He is survived by his siblings, Michael Bergin and wife Amy of Atlanta, Timothy Bergin and wife Gabriela of Miami, Patricia Bedard and husband Paul of Lakeville, NY and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Daniel was a 1978 graduate of Brighton High School, a 1982 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, and a Delta Pilot. A memorial service will be held in Seattle.
